Here are the promised photos:

But now the really interessting stuff. I booted my a selfcompiled
kernel. :)
I used the first kernel release from motorola. To get it compiled i
need to fix an include. Patch attached. I use ezx-crosstool as
toolchain.
Here some more details what happens with the selfcompiled kernel.
- Loads kernel into ram with Haralds boot_usb
- After some seconds it starts to boot. Anybody an idea how to remove
the stupid bottuplogo from motorola? We need to see the kernel
bootup.
- After bootup the date is set to 1970-01-01
- I get an error that there is no connection to the tapi server.
- No GPS antenna symbol appears.
- No ask for PIN code.
- After ~10 sec the phone crashes.
I think the last four points are problems because the necessary kernel
modules for communication with the BP and other hardware are missed.
A precompiled binary can be found here:
http://www.datenfreihafen.org/~stefan/EZX/
Of course i can also offer a tar.gz with the complete source code. But
that is nothing else then the first release from sourceforge and the
attached patched.
So, if somebody need it, i upload it, too.
Need to go to bed now.
